Twelve Chairs Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery founded by Kristine Stasiulevich and Georgian artist Zura, located in the vibrant heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Dedicated to original and expressive work, the gallery presents carefully curated exhibitions in both our indoor space and sculpture garden, bringing a uniquely Williamsburg edge to every presentation.

The gallery takes its name from The Twelve Chairs, a satirical 1920s novel—a decade marked by radical artistic experimentation and the rise of modernism. That same spirit of innovation, personal expression, and disruption continues to guide our curatorial vision today.

We represent contemporary artists with strong academic foundations who are committed to pushing boundaries across media. Our roster includes mid-career and established voices, united by a return to the beauty of figuration, reimagined through a distinctly contemporary lens.

Through exhibitions and immersive programming, we aim to share these artists’ practices with broader audiences and spark meaningful dialogue between past and present, tradition and transformation, all infused with the dynamic, creative energy of Williamsburg.
