The work plays with the archetype of the temptress, recasting it as a figure of agency rather than object. The smooth, resilient surface of the resin amplifies the sculpture’s tension: soft curve against armored jaw, grace set against survival instinct. Zura’s economy of line and upright, deliberate posture create a figure that is at once seductive and sovereign, confronting the viewer with the knowledge that desire and danger often share the same silhouette.
